Pets can become unhealthy and fall ill just like their human owners. When this happens always take your pet to the veterinarian. Do not try to treat it yourself. This may backfire and you could have a far more serious problem on your hands. That being said what are some common and popular medicines that could be given to your pets?

Heart guard

Heart guard plus: If your dog has heartworms, hookworms and roundworms then administer Ivermectin and Pyrantel to control the condition.

Heart guard tablet pill: If you dog is allergic to beef try giving him an ivermectin only heartgard product. This comes in a little pill.

Ivermectin only heart guard: This is ivermectin only heart guard without the ingredient Pyrantel.

Iverhart plus chewable: This is a cheaper alternative to heart guard plus made with similar ingredients but without beef

Sentinel:

This is a medicine that helps prevent fleas and heartworms. It is manufactured by Novartis. It has the same ingredients as the heartworm preventative interceptor. It is tasty flavored tablet.

Kiltix

Kiltix kills and keeps away all ticks for up to 4 weeks. You can use it alone or with Advantage or Program. If you use it with these two you can prevent both fleas and ticks. The dosage is: if your dog weighs less than 33 lbs then only one tube monthly. If your dog weighs more than 33 lbs then give it two tubes monthly
