Adopt A Pet
Adopt a pet is a program or campaign that involves humans adopting a stray or homeless dog or cat into their home and looking after it. Animals are reproducing at a tremendous rate. They are usually born homeless and without needed care. Because of animal overpopulation you will find that literally millions of young and healthy animals are euthanized unnecessarily. But these animals need your love and care, good food, clean water, and a secure shelter to spend their lives. In the adopt a pet campaign you can adopt a variety of animals like cats, dogs, birds, fish, reptiles, insects and spiders and even flea and tick products. You get a wide gamut of pets under each category. There are animal shelters in almost every state in the U.S.A. Some of the animal shelters in North Dakota for example are Action for Animals Network, Adopt-a-Pet of fargo-Moorhead, American Brittany Rescue, American Lhasa Apso Club Rescue etc. Some animal shelters in New York are 2The Rescue, 4&A Tail, 4 Paws Humane Society, Abandoned Angels Inc. Adopt-A-Dog, INC. etc. If you want to volunteer you can contact Volunteer Match which is a non profit organization that offers a variety of online services. They are the primary internet tool for recruiting more than 20,000 non profit organizations
